The People Behind Our Products
 

The senior management and founders of INGfertilityTM are all academically trained Scientists and Clinical Researchers. This means that we need to constantly prove to ourselves that what we say about our products is accurate. Specifically, Dr. Ellington (an Andrologist, and the inventor of Pre~Seed®) has had twenty years of federal funding through the NIH and the USDA, with a long curriculum vitae of publications and awards. The quality of her reputation among her peers (who still review her grants and publications) is the single most valuable asset she has as an investigator.  You can view Dr. E's NIH funded grants here.

In order, to protect this asset and to offer you and your patients the highest quality products possible, INGfertilityTM is constantly evaluating our product line. This includes supporting ongoing studies in house, or providing product for independent third party studies, such those discussed in our Science Section.

Our management remains active in the field of Reproductive Medicine through membership and support of these esteemed organizations: American Society of Reproductive Medicine; Society for Male Reproduction and Urology and the American Society of Andrology.

Our Product Line

Pre~Seed® "fertility-friendly" Intimate Moisturizer. Pre~Seed® is applied intravaginally by use of an applicator prior to intercourse, in order to coat the internal vagina and exterior cervix with moisture. Pre~Seed®, doesn’t harm sperm, it can be used for vaginal dryness relief, even when trying to conceive.  This includes those 75% of trying-to-conceive women that experience increased personal dryness due to the stress of timed intercourse and fertility medication use. Although women with vaginal dryness in any stage of life also enjoy the internal moisture of Pre~Seed®. Please see the recent study in Fertility & Sterility, 2008 showing Pre~Seed® to be the only vaginal dryness relief product that did not harm sperm.

Pre'® Lubricant a lubricant unlike any other on the market. Pre´® has been proven in clinical studies to be less irritating or drying than the leading lubricants. This is because it is pH neutral (7.2) and isotonic (316 mOsmo). Other leading lubricants either have too high an osmolality and cause irritation or too low of an osmolality which decreases endogenous mucus production, possibly leading to drying. Pre´® has been used as an external lubricant by people in all walks of life including post-menopausal women, and women with vulvar pain disorders, such as vulvodynia. Pre'® Lubricant is indicated for external genital application to facilitate intimacy. This includes use to facilitate semen collection with polyurethane condoms or by masturbation. 

Pre'® Lubricant is also the first lubricant with specific indications of use including facilitating the insertion of diagnostic or therapeutic instruments during clinical fertility interventions such as:

• Embryo transfer
• Transvaginal collection of oocytes
• Intrauterine insemination &
• Post coital testing.

Pre®´ Lubricant is packaged pathogen free, with a very low bioburden (<100 cfu/ml) and low endotoxin level. Instructions for steam sterilization (if desired) of product are included on the insert.
